How Tantra and Yoga Work Together โ Live Webinar
Yoga and Tantra share a single root. Centuries ago, they were one continuous practice, and somewhere along the way, they branched into two paths that most people now think of as entirely separate.
If you practice yoga, meditate, or work with Tantra in any form, this class is for you. What most modern yoga teaches is only one piece of a far larger practice. Life-force energy, emotional fluidity, and the chakra system were never separate from the postures. They were always meant to move alongside them.
Wednesday the 16th of September, Dieke, Amandeep and Marija Marali, three faculty members of our upcoming Tantra & Yoga Teacher Training, walk you through exactly how these two traditions work as one.

Why Tantra and Yoga Were Never Separate
Modern postural yoga descends directly from Hatha Yoga, a system developed within the Tantric tradition of medieval India. Scholars researching this history widely agree that Hatha Yoga's roots trace back to Tantric masters such as Matsyendranath, one of its founding figures. Even the word "hatha" carries this union in its own name, combining ha (sun) and tha (moon), two energies meeting as one. In this live class, Dieke, Amandeep, and Marija Marali share the dimensions of this practice that most modern yoga training leaves out, along with a real, felt sense of how to bring them back in.
In this live call, you'll learnโฆ
-
The shared root of yoga and Tantra
How yoga and Tantra began as a single, unified tradition centuries ago, and how Hatha Yoga, the physical practice most people know as "yoga" today, grew directly out of Tantric teachings rather than developing separately from them. -
Why the postures drifted from their energetic roots
The historical shifts that gradually pulled the physical practice away from the larger tradition it was born from, leaving most modern yoga training with only a fragment of what yoga was originally designed to offer. -
What life-force energy actually is, and how to work with it directly
A clear, felt explanation of life-force energy, moving past vague or abstract descriptions, and how Tantra engages with it as a direct practice rather than something that occasionally arises as a byproduct of movement. -
How emotional fluidity becomes part of the practice itself
How Tantra treats emotion as something to be met and moved through during a practice, integrated fully into the work, rather than a separate skill managed outside of it. -
How the chakras and Kundalini can be felt in the body
Moving beyond theory and diagrams into a genuine, embodied experience of the chakra system and Kundalini energy, so these become something you sense directly, again and again, rather than a concept explained once and left behind. -
How breath, sound, and ritual expand a practice
The additional tools Tantra brings into a yoga practice beyond the physical postures, and how these elements deepen the experience into something far more complete. -
How these principles carry from the mat into relationships and connection
How the same life-force energy and emotional fluidity cultivated on the mat directly shapes intimacy, connection, and depth in relationships off it. -
The relationship between movement and inner stillness
How conscious movement becomes a doorway into genuine presence, and the real relationship between moving the body with awareness and arriving at true inner stillness.

Meet Your Teachers
Marija Marali-Yoga, Movement & Inner Work
Marija Marali understands the quiet cost of a life that appears successful yet feels disconnected from truth. After over a decade in senior leadership roles in London, and a foundation in Psychology and Ethics, she stepped away in 2019 to fully devote herself to Tantra, immersing in the contemplative traditions of Kashmiri Shaivism and the Vijรฑฤna Bhairava Tantra. She bridges the worlds of yoga, conscious movement, and the inner work of Tantra with clarity and grace.

Dieke-Relationships & Tantra Massage
Dieke came to this work through a complete transformation of her own life. Leaving a career in Innovation Management, she followed something deeper to Bali, where she found her practice, her path, and her beloved. Her specialty is the relational dimension of Tantra: working with couples, with women, and with the body through Tantra massage.
